Underground line U35: From the main station take underground line U35 towards "Hustadt" and alight at "Lennershof" or "Ruhr-Universität". From these stations the Botanic Garden is just a short walk away (entrance N-Südstraße 6 und entrance "Mensa") on N-Südstrasse.

Bus number 320 oder 375: These buses take you to a stop called "Haupteingang Botanischer Garten" ["Botanic Garden main entrance"]. From the road ("Im Lottental") a short path leads to the entrance of the Botanic Garden. Please note, parking is very limited at this entrance.

Note: For historic reasons the entrance in Lottental is called "Haupteingang" [main entrance], but by far the majority of visitors enter the Botanic Garden through the entrance on N-Südstraße 6.

Since the postal address of the Botanic Garden (Universitätsstrasse 150) is also the postal address of the entire campus of the Ruhr-University, it is little use entering it into your satnav if you are trying to get here.
